The Center for Consumer Law at the University of Houston has produced an educational DVD entitled “Money, Credit and the Law–Know Your Rights.” Funded in part by grants from the Texas Bar Foundation and Money Management International, the video shows consumers how the law protects them from abusive practices. It also explains how knowing your legal rights can resolve some credit problems, and let you work out a reasonable payment plan.
